Quick start: your Spoonflower analytics in six steps

Create your account with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters, then check your inbox for a confirmation link and follow it to activate your account and sign in.

Complete your profile

The first time you sign in, a short wizard sets up your workspace. It asks who you are (your name and country, which set your base currency and starting timezone automatically), about your shops (your Spoonflower username, which is the part after /profiles/ in your Spoonflower URL, and your Etsy shop too if you sell there), and where your Spoonflower order emails land. That address is the first inbox on your account's list of verified email addresses: if it's the address you signed up with, it's verified already; if it's a different mailbox, Lumitela emails a 6-digit code to prove you own it. Full guide: Profile & email addresses.

Import everything with the extension

The last wizard step points you at the Lumitela extension, a one-click Add to Chrome install from the Chrome Web Store. Log in to your shops in ordinary tabs, open the side panel, and once its status lights are green press Start import: it brings in your design catalog (titles, tags, and thumbnails), your full Spoonflower sales history, and your Etsy orders and fees, all in one go. A big library takes a while (around 15 minutes for a few thousand designs), so it's a good moment to grab a coffee and let it run. Not on Chrome? Everything has a manual equivalent: download your Spoonflower payment statements yourself and drop them on the Import data page. Watch it end to end: signing up, the profile wizard, and the extension's first import.

Go live with forwarding

Add a rule in your own mailbox that forwards new Spoonflower (and Etsy, if you sell there too) order emails to inbox@lumitela.com. There's nothing to install and no password to hand over, and once the rule is in place, your next new order proves it's working within a minute or two. The Setup page in the sidebar tracks this step and ticks it off for you. The full guide spells out exactly which three emails to forward, for any email provider; the video below walks through Gmail specifically. Backfill your order emails

Statements carry the money; the order emails already sitting in your inbox carry the retail detail (who bought what, on which substrate), and for Etsy sellers they're how orders get matched to their Spoonflower fulfillments. If you'd like that history too, export your past order emails with Google Takeout and drop the export on the Import data page. Re-importing later is always safe. Full guide: Import your Spoonflower sales history.

Watch the order email backfill: forward-as-attachment for a handful, Google Takeout for the lot.

Your first look at the dashboard

With your history imported and forwarding live, the dashboard is where you'll land day to day: today, this week, this month, and how your year stacks up against last, plus the Spoonflower bonus tier tracker. Full guide: Dashboard and Spoonflower bonus tier tracker.

Spotted something odd, or wish a screen worked differently? The Feedback item at the bottom of the sidebar opens a short form, and it can include a screenshot of the screen you are on so we see exactly what you see. About a week in, a short survey pops up once to ask how it's going; answer it or dismiss it, it won't nag.

From day two, a daily sales report also lands in your inbox each morning. It's on by default; the send hour and the switch are on your Profile page.
